Tsuburaya Productions has announced the Japanese home video release of ULTRA HEROES EXPO 2020 BATTLE STAGE: HEROES OF LIGHT (ウルトラヒーローズEXPO 2020」バトルステージ 光の勇者たち, `Urutora Hīrōzu Ekisupo 2020 Batoru Sutēji Hikari no Yūsha-tachi). The DVD will be available through retailers and rental outlets on September 11. Fans can also buy advance copies from select Ultraman Official Shop stores and Ultraman World M78 ONLINE starting July 17. The Battle Stage shows were a popular attraction during ULTRA HEROES EXPO 2020, which was held at Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall from December 28, 2019 to January 5, 2020. The 2020 show was based on the TV series ULTRAMAN TAIGA (ウルトラマンタイガ, Urutoraman Taiga, 2019-20), and featured live performances from Yuki Inoue as Taigas human host, Hiroyuki Kudo; Kou Nanase as Kirisaki, the human form of Taigas nemesis, Ultraman Tregear; Ryotaro as Homare Souya from the private security organization E.G.I.S. (Enterprise of Guard and Investigation Services); TAKERU and Chiaki Seshimo from the music group Voyager; and Rino Shimomura as the emcee. Also appearing onstage were Ultraman Taiga, Ultraman Titas, Ultraman Fuma, Ultraman Zero Beyond, Ultraman Ginga, Ultraman Victory, Ultraman X, Ultraman Orb, Ultraman Geed, Ultraman Groob, Ultraman Ribut and Ultraman Taro along with a group of villains that included Ultraman Tregear, Alien Magma and Alien Markind. STORY Due to a plot by Ultraman Tregear, the monster Woola is revived. As Hiroyuki Kudo begins to lose faith, Ultraman Taiga tells him a story about "true power" that Taiga learned from his father Ultraman Taro when he was a very young boy.
