    Anime Expo Announces Voice Actor Vic Mignogna as Guest of Honor

Known for popular roles including Edward Elric in FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, Tamaki Suou in OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB, and Zero in VAMPIRE KNIGHT, Mr. Mignogna has also voiced many video games roles and is active as a producer, director and musician. Mr. Mignogna has been acting for stage and screen since he was eight years old. He started his career in anime a little over ten years ago as Vega in STREETFIGHTER II. Since then, he has been in more than two hundred shows and video games, with additional credits including Yoshimori in Adult Swim’s KEKKAISHI, Death Scythe in SOUL EATER, Fai in TSUBASA CHRONICLE, Dark in DNAngel, Kurz in FULL METAL PANIC, Broly in DRAGON BALL Z, Kougaijji in SAIYUKI, Ikkaku in BLEACH, Yukito in AIR, Takanaga in WALLFLOWER, Tatsu in PEACEMAKER, Luciano in CODE GEASS, Virgil Walsh in TRINITY BLOOD, and Hikaru in MACROSS. His recent credits include the new POKEMON movie, G4’s WOLVERINE and IRON MAN series, and TIGER & BUNNY. Mr. Mignogna`s video game credits include SOUL CALIBUR, DISGAEA, DYNASTY WARRIORS, PERSONA III, SONIC COLOURS, DRAGON BALL Z, BLEACH, FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST and more. Vic is also a professional music composer, singer, producer who has written and produced hundreds of pieces for TV, radio and CD. He sings the themes for shows like ONE PIECE and DRAGON BALL GT,and has produced several CDs of his own original music, all available on iTunes. He is also deeply involved as an actor and director in several web series, and is executive producing the new series Star Trek Continues, where he is not only directing, but fulfilling a childhood dream of playing the iconic role of Captain Kirk.
