(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Takeshi Natsuno) has announced that it will release Yoshiki Takaya Art Book: The Bio-Boosted Armor Guyver Illustration Chronicle (高屋良樹画集 強殖装甲ガイバー イラストレーション クロニクル, Takaya Yoshiki Gashū-kyō Kyōshoku Sōkō Gaibā Ilasutorēshon Kuronikuru) on July 26th.
This is the first art book of manga artist Yoshiki Takaya's masterpiece, Bio-Booster Armor Guyver and covers not only the series, but also illustrations created for products such as figure packaging. The author has carefully selected color illustrations going back to the manga's 1985 debut in Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Captain (月刊少年キャプテン, Gekkan Shōnen Kyaputen) and all the way up to the present. Each illustration comes with a comment from Mr. Takaya revealing behind-the-scenes stories and details.
This is a book designed to make Guyver fans drool!
■ What is Bio-Booster Armor Guyver?
A high school student, Sho Fukamachi, accidentally obtains a mysterious object called the "Guyver Unit"... a product of the super-technology created by aliens who visited Earth in the distant past!
Fukamachi gets involved in a global-scale fierce battle against the biological weapons and beast soldiers of the secret organization Chronos, which is working to collect all the Guyver Units!
Bio-Booster Armor Guyver was created by Yoshiki Takaya, whose works include A World With No Tomorrow - Humanity Without Men (明日なき世界・♂なき人類, Ashita Naki Sekai♂ Naki Jinrui) and Hades Project Zeorymer (冥王計画ゼオライマー, Purojekuto Zeoraimā).
