    Introduction

The famous Lupin the IIIrd returns as a 2D theatrical animation for the first time in nearly 30 years!

The setting is a mysterious island that is not on the map. When Lupin and his friends arrive on the island in search of treasure, they are met by an unknown entity and his "Immortal Bloodline." The story unfolds with unprecedented scale and drama, and is the ultimate origin that connects all the "Lupin the IIIrd Universe" works.

The original work was created by managa artist Monkey Punch. The director of LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE: IMMORTAL BLOODLINE is Koike Takeshi, who has directed all of the connected "Lupin the IIIrd Universe" series and specials from LUPIN THE THIRD: THE WOMAN CALLED FUJIKO MINE (LUPIN the Third -峰不二子という女- Rupan za Saado Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna, 2012) to LUPIN THE IIIRD: ZENIGATA AND THE TWO LUPINS (LUPIN THE IIIRD 銭形と2人のルパン, LUPIN THE IIIRD Zenigata to 2-ri no Rupan, 2025). Koike has been highly praised both in Japan and abroad for the visual style of his films, including REDLINE (レッドライン, 2010), and THE ANIMATRIX: WORLD RECORD (アニマトリックス ワールド・レコード, Animatorikkusu Wārudo Rekōdo, 2003), a segment of the THE MATRIX anthology animation film.

The screenplay is by Yuya Takahashi, and the music is by James Shimoji. The familiar oice cast includes series regulars Koichi Yamadera (Inspector Zenigata), Kanichi Kurita as Lupin III, Akio Otsuka (Daisuke Jigen), Daisuke Namikawa (Goemon Ishikawa), and Miyuki Sawashiro (Fujiko Mine). Guest voice actors include Kataoka Ainosuke VI, Aoi Morikawa, and the comedy duo Kuuki Kaidan. The theme song is a newly written song by B'z, "The IIIRD Eye."

"The Lupin the IIIrd that no one knows" finally appears on the big screen!

    Story

Lupin III and his friends head to the Bermuda Sea in search of a mysterious island that doesn't exist on the world map. Their goal is to discover the identity of the mastermind who has been sending assassins after them and to uncover and the enormous treasure hidden there. However, the moment they approach the island, their plane is shot down by a sniper, and the group s forced to make an emergency landing on the island of death.

The scene that unfolds before them is like the end of the world, with mountains of decaying weapons and nuclear missiles piled up, and "garbage people" who were once used as weapons and then discarded wandering around. The island is covered in fog and filled with a poison that will bring death within 24 hours, and there is no escape.

The ruler of the island, Muom, claims to be immortal and is attempting to rule the world by the process of selection and elimination. Faced with an "immortal enemy" that is invulnerable to guns and swords, Lupin challenges him to a battle of wits, risking his past, his pride, and his pride as a thief.

Will Lupin and his friends be able to steal everything within 24 hours and escape the island alive?
