    Godzilla and Mothra Movies on Crackle

Special Thanks to Chad Kaszer In 2007, Sony Pictures Entertainment launched Crackle, Inc., a multi-platform next-generation video entertainment network that distributes digital content including programming from Sony Pictures’ vast library of television series and feature films. Among the many titles in the Sony Pictures library are a number of monster and sci-fi movies produced by Toho, plus Sony`s own American GODZILLA remake and the animated series spin-off from that film. Crackle Community Manager Chad Kaszer has announced that they have recently added several Godzilla/Toho videos which can now be watched for free at crackle.com (descriptions courtesy of Crackle)... MOTHRA (1961) A joint expedition of Rolisican and Japanese scientists explores the nuclear blasted island of Beiru and discovers many curious things, including two women only a foot high. Unscrupulous expedition leader Clark Nelson abducts the women and puts them in a vaudeville show. But their sweet singing contains a telepathic cry for help to Mothra, the gigantic moth worshiped as a goddess by the island people. It’s a kaiju classic! SON OF GODZILLA (1967) A strange weather condition has produced Minya, a miniature creature from the same species as Godzilla! Attacked by giant insects, Minya cries for help and Godzilla responds, taking the youngster under his wing. As Godzilla teaches Minya proper monster etiquette, they are attacked by a giant spider which will prove to be young Minya`s first true test of his fledgling monster skills.

    GODZILLA VS KING GHIDORAH (1991) This, the 18th Gojira movie, has time travelers bouncing throughout history in an attempt to use Godzilla in a wild scheme to destroy Japan and prevent the country`s future economic reign. GODZILLA AND MOTHRA (1992) Insane insects and tiny twins make for a tasty Godzilla remake. It starts with a meteorite in the Pacific and ends in a three way monster mash with Battra, Mothra and good ol’ Gojira. GODZILLA VS SPACEGODZILLA (1994) Godzilla deals both with Space Godzilla and the Yakuza, all while trying to protect Little Godzilla. Japan is the ultimate battleground when Godzilla squares off against his his mutated intergalactic twin. GODZILLA VS DESTOROYAH (1995) The aftermath of the Oxygen Destroyer brings forth Destoroyah, a beast intent on killing Godzilla Junior and Godzilla, who is on the verge of a nuclear meltdown. It’s a three-way melee that leaves Tokyo in tatters. GODZILLA (1998) The enormous monster descends upon New York, and it`s up to the Army and an odd team of investigators to unravel the mystery behind the incredible creature before it`s too late. Matthew Broderick and Jean Reno (THE PROFESSIONAL) deal with the monster that made rampant destruction A-OK. GODZILLA: THE SERIES MINISODE- New Family, Pt. 1 (1998) They`re cute when they`re young! The day after Godzilla wrecked havoc on the city of New York the Humanitarian Environmental Analysis Team (HEAT), lead by Nick Tatopoulos go looking for baby newborn zillas, just in case. Guess what they find?

    GODZILLA: THE SERIES MINISODE- New Family, Pt. 2 (1998) Baby Godzilla loves Dr. Nick. So much so that when a sea beast attacks him, guess who shows up, even though he just got nuked` It`s a real parent and child bond. But it`s hard when the one who loves you could accidentally use you to pick their teeth. GODZILLA VS MEGAGUIRUS (2000) This contemporary film has an updated look and a high-tech polish while still retaining the spirt of past `Godzilla` films. In it, a beleaguered Japan is threatened not only by Godzilla, but by a gigantic flying monster and its legions of hungry larva. As the monsters go at it, the Japanese miltary scrambles to destroy all them all. GODZILLA, MOTHRA, AND KING GHIDORAH (2001) In this direct sequel to the classic GODZILLA from 1954 Godzilla returns to his "bad guy" roots as he rampages through Japan just like in the good ol` days. In response, the legendary "Holy Beasts of Yamato" (Ghidorah, Mothra and Baragon) are resurrected to protect Japan and destroy the threat of Godzilla forever. GODZILLA: TOKYO S.O.S. (2003) One year after the fight between Godzilla and Mechagodzilla, the two monsters go toe to toe and fist to wing with Mothra in this conclusive battle royale. GODZILLA: FINAL WARS (2004) Godzilla`s 50th Anniversary project, in which Godzilla travels around the world to fight his old foes, plus a new, mysterious monster called "Monster X". All the films are English dubbed versions. MOTHRA and the two GODZILLA: THE SERIES Minisodes (condensed versions of cartoon episodes) are currently unavailable on Region 1 DVD. GODZILLA VS SPACEGODZILLA has a textless version of the end titles while GODZILLA VS DESTOROYAH features the complete end credits, unlike the VHS and DVD releases from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
