    Godzilla Attacks Kotodaman in New RPG Collaboration

    MIXI Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hiroki Kimura) will collaborate with Godzilla for the first time on July 10th with their hit word-fighting smartphone app "Kyoudou Kotoba RPG Kotodaman" (共闘ことばRPG コトダマン, Kyōtō Kotoba RPG Kotodaman). Developed by Sega, Kotodaman is a free RPG in which players compete by solving Japanese slang word puzzles to unleash attacks on yheir opponents. Since its launch in 2018, the game has run partnerships with other popular Japanese bards such as Persona and Kamen Rider. 

    In this collaboration, Godzilla will attack Kotodaman's annual summer festival "God in Japan"! (ゴッドインジャパン,  Goddo In Japan) and be featured in a new version of the "Great Defeat Event" (大討伐イベント, Daitōbatsu Ibento), a game for both beginners and longtime players in which four players cooperate to defeat a new threat. Users will receive free downloadable Godzilla digital stamps just by logging in during the collaboration period, with additional prizes for those who score "maximum damage" and "total damage" against Godzilla in a single battle.
