    MIRAI Watch Party November 20th to Celebrate Film's North American Anniversary

    ​Studio Chizu is proud to announce, f​rom Academy Award-nominated director Mamoru Hosoda (SUMMER WARS,​ ​WOLF CHILDREN)​ , ​in partnership with North American distributor ​GKIDS, a​ nd anime convention A​ nime NYC​, a Press Play Twitter Watch Party in celebration of MIRAI’s (未来のミライ, Mirai no Mirai, 2018) Anniversary Film release.​

    Fans are invited to join the celebratory Watch Party with their p​hysical ​and ​digital c​opies of MIRAI on November 20th, 2020 at 5:00pm PST.

    Join the Happy Hour an hour early at 4:00pm PST to join Academy Award nominee Yuichiro Saito, Studio Chizu co-founder and producer of MIRAI, as he interacts with the fans answering some questions plus share some special moments.

    MIRAI

    When four-year-old Kun meets his new baby sister, his world is turned upside down. Named Mirai (meaning “future”), the baby quickly wins the hearts of Kun’s entire family. As his mother returns to work, and his father struggles to run the household, Kun becomes increasingly jealous of baby Mirai… until one day he storms off into the garden, where he encounters strange guests from the past and future — including his sister Mirai, as a teenager.
