The German collectibles and apparel company ItemLab has released their first wave of Godzilla products. These items are now available for international shipping worldwide, excluding Asian regions, and can be purchased from  www.afterthecredits.net.  Godzilla fans in the US can also find some ItemLab Godzilla merchandise at TheMysteryShack with more to be added soon. 

Beyond the products currently available, ItemLab is working on a classic Godzilla plush, a SD Silicone Ambient light and a few more apparel items. SciFi Japan will cover these items as more details become available.

One distinction for ItemLab is the company's strong focus on Quality & Sustainability. "Our Sustainability angle really sets us apart from the rest of the industry as we are literally lightyears ahead of anyone else," explained company CEO André Schmitz. "We are FSC, GRS, GOTS and Carbon neutral certified entity. For example all our plush collectibles are made using GRS certified recycled Polyester, the hangtags are FSC certified recycled cardboard, printed with eco-friendly, plant-based inks which won´t interfere with a later recycling process. In addition to that, all remaining carbon emissions related to manufacturing and import are being offset through climate projects, making each plush a carbon-neutral certified product."

"Our T-Shirts are above standard in quality and durability. The vast majority of commonly available licensed T-Shirts are tubular fabric, which is cheap to mass produce, but us humans are not tubular. Our T-Shirts are made with sideseam which provides higher wearing comfort and better stability even after multiple washes. Our T-Shirts are 180gsm which is about 20% heavier/stronger than the commonly available licensed T-Shirts. All our Apparel Items are FairWear certified and we solely use GOTS certified organic cotton."

In addition to Godzilla, ItemLab has licensing deals with other Japanese brands, including Bubble Bobble,  Konami classics like Silent Hill (Pyramid Head and Nurse Plushes are coming) and Parodious. Products for Vic Viper and other classics such as Goemon are also in development.
