Sculpted by Akira Ibaraki, who boasts a wealth of experience and popularity, and supervised by Toho

Akira Ibaraki, a popular sculptor who has created numerous Godzilla figures over the past 30 years, is in charge of the prototypes and coloring. With the cooperation of Toho, the Toho Monsters Figure Series has been completed, boasting an overwhelming quality that transcends time and movies.

Akira Ibaraki (born in Tokyo in 1959, sculptor)

Akira Ibaraki's main work is the creation of full-scratch monster models, such as Godzilla. As a monster sculptor, he specializes in faithfully reproducing the suits that appear in movies, and his works, which have improved reproducibility due to their detailed body surface details, are favored by many fans in Japan and abroad.

Detailed reproduction of skin, scales, coloring, and other details

The detailed skin and scales on the heavy bodies, as well as the lively wings and tails, are precisely reproduced with meticulous modeling and coloring. The figures are also posed with a pursuit of realism.

The skin and complex fins of Godzilla and the other monsters are also thoroughly reproduced in the same detail as in the films. Popular monsters such as Gigan, which is characterized by its extreme coloring, are also provided as pre-painted figures and parts that have been meticulously painted with the same attention to detail.
