    Paint Your Own Godzilla Figurine at "Nijigen no Mori" Theme Park

    On Saturday, September 2, the Nijigen-no-mori theme park's popular attraction "Godzilla Interception Operation - National Awaji Island Institute of Godzilla Disaster" (ゴジラ迎撃作戦 ~国立ゴジラ淡路島研究センター~, Gojira Geigeki Sakusen ~ Kokuritsu Gojira Awajishima Kenkyū Sentā ~ will launch a new craft event. The "Godzilla Unglazed Color Painting Experience" (ゴジラ素焼き色塗り体験, Gojira Suyaki-Shokunuri Taiken)  is perfect for the autumn season of art. In this event, visitors will be able to create their own Godzilla by color-painting the own design on Nijigen-no Mori's original "Unglazed Godzilla," a white figurine of the original Godzilla. Visitors will also be able to take their painted Godzillas home. as souvenirs

    Godzilla continues to evolve with the upcoming November 3 rdrelease of GODZILLA MINUS ONE (ゴジラ-1.0/ゴジラマイナスワン, Gojira Mainasu Wan). a film commemorating the 70th anniversary of Godzilla's birth! Parents and children can paint a Godzilla together, or each family member can paint their own. Can you create a powerful Godzilla that is second to none? Create memories together as parents and children with the "Godzilla Unglazed Color Painting Experience," available only at Nijigen-no-mori's "Godzilla Interception Operation" -- the perfect way to spend a cool autumn day out!

    In addition, the "Godzilla Unglazed Color Painting Laboratory" (ゴジラ素焼き色塗り研究所, Gojira Suyaki-Shokunuri Kenkyūjo) will be opened during the event for visitors to the park who do not purchase ticket sfor the attraction to also experience it.

    Location: Special tent "Godzilla Unglazed Color Painting Laboratory" in the Godzilla Interception Operation Area
    Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. (last admission at 6:00 p.m.)
    Fee: 2,000円 (Approximately $13.65 US, Tax Included)
          *Tickets are available at the Operation Godzilla Interception Reception Desk.
          *People who have not purchased attraction tickets may also participate.
    Time Required: Approximately 30 min.

     

    ■ "Godzilla Interception Operation Awaji" Overview

    "Godzilla Intercept Operation" is the world's only entertainment attraction themed around a life-size Godzilla, 120 meters long, which has landed on Awaji Island, allowing visitors to truly experience the might and power of Godzilla.

    Participants become members of the National Awaji Island Institute of Godzilla Disaster and take on missions such as a zipline, in which participants plunge into Godzilla's meticulously detailed body, and a shooting game in which they destroy scattered Godzilla cells.
