On Friday, November 3, 2023 the Japanese delivery and take-out pizza chain “Pizza-La” operated by Four Seas Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Sachiko Asano) will launch a collaboration with Toho's GODZILLA MINUS ONE (ゴジラ-1.0/ゴジラマイナスワン, Gojira Mainasu Wan) where customers can win merchandise from the movie. Pizza-La will also kick off a gift campaign Thursday, November 9th for Godzilla prizes.
■ A Dream Collaboration with Godzilla!
Pizza-La was founded by Hidenori Asano in 1987, an idea born from classic Japanese and American movies. He had attended a revival screening of the movie E.T. at Waseda Shochiku in Takadanobaba and was struck by an early scene of children eating delivery pizzas. At that time, there was no pizza delivery service in Japan so Asano sights on creating an original pizza for Japanese diners, especially one that would please women and children.
The secret behind the naming of Pizza-La is that the "La" is actually taken from the movie GODZILLA, and it is hoped that the brand will spread its wings from Japan and be loved by people all over the world, just like the iconic Japanese character, Godzilla.
The GODZILLA MINUS ONE “Pizza x Godzilla” collaboration was made possible by the connection between the origin of the restaurant's name and the 70th anniversary of Godzilla's birth.
Whether a customer orders through SNS or the official website, they will be entered into a drawing to win original GODZILLA MINUS ONE goods such as theater posters, T-shirts, stickers, figures, and pizza gift certifcates. Pizza-La is the "Godzilla" of the pizza world, and they are excited about the movie's release!

Godzilla Attacks Stores For a Limited Time!
From Friday, November 3 to Thursday, November 30, Godzilla will attack some Pizza-La stores! At participating stores, a large standee and decorations will make it look as if Godzilla is inside Pizza-La. Takeout customers at these locations will receive one randomly selected Godzilla-1.0 sticker per pizza on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
Please stop by Pizza-La after seeing GODZILLA MINUS ONE.
