    "Splash Godzilla" Now Running at "Nijigen no Mori" Theme Park

    At Nijigen No Mori theme park's popular attraction, "Godzilla Interception Operation" (ゴジラ迎撃作戦 ~国立ゴジラ淡路島研究センター~, Gojira Geigeki Sakusen ~ Kokuritsu Gojira Awajishima Kenkyū Sentā ~), the emergency special mission "Splash Godzilla" (スプラッシュ ゴジラ,  Supurasshu Gojira) will be held for a limited time from Saturday, July 1st to Sunday, October 1st.

    "Splash Godzilla" is a summertime expansion of the park's Godzilla's zip line ride. Surprisingly, it is confirmed that the body temperature of Godzilla, which lies dormant on Nijigen no Mori, Awaji Island, has risen sharply! At NIGOD (National Awaji Island Institute of Godzilla Disaster) the decision is made to launch "Splash Godzilla", which sprays a large amount of water to cool Godzilla.

    Participants glide on a zip line as a member of the team and examine Godzilla's body from the inside while bathing themselves in a large amount of water that is released just before entering Godzilla's body.

    This year's "splash Godzilla" uses 200% more water ompared to last year! Enjoy Godzilla-level thrilling summer memories with your friends and family at Nijigen no Mori!

     

    What is the Godzilla interception Operation?

    "Godzilla Interception Operation" is the world's only entertainment attraction where you can fully experience the power and power of Godzilla, with the theme of the world's largest life-size Godzilla that landed on Awaji Island.

    Participants become members of the National Awaji Island Institute of Godzilla Disaster  (NIGOD) and after receiving an explanation of the "Godzilla Interception Operation" that unfolds against Godzilla who has appeared on Awaji Island through a movie-like attraction video produced by Toho.

    In the world's first permanent "Godzilla Museum", which is attached, with the cooperation of Toho Visual Art Co., Ltd., which has been responsible for the special effects of the Godzilla movies, there are powerful dioramas that make you feel like you are in front of a movie scene.
