New CCP Middle Size Series Godzilla EX Vol. 9 Godzilla Figures Coming in November

The Japanese figure manufacturer CCPJAPAN has begun accepting pre-orders for the "CCP Middle Size Series Godzilla EX [Vol. 9] (CCP ミドルサイズシリーズゴジラEX【第9弾】, CCP Midoru Saizu Shirīzu Gojira EX [Dai 9-dan])," retro-design soft vinyl figures of monsters from the popular "Godzilla" special effects film series, at hobby shops, mass retailers, and online stores across Japan.

Based on the concept of “an old-school/new-school, yet slightly old-fashioned soft vinyl monster series,” the popular Middle Size figure line measure an average 12 cm in height and fits in the palm of a hand, making it easy to collect. This is a collection series by CCPJAPAN for soft vinyl and monster lovers, with a retro-style deformation that gives a nostalgic and somewhat “Showa-era retro” feel to the figures.

EX [Vol. 9] includes four figures, including the completely new Godzilla (2004) from GODZILLA: FINAL WARS (ゴジラ FINAL WARS, Gojira Final Wars), and "Godzilla (2016) Frozen" SHIN GODZILLA (シン・ゴジラ, Shin Gojira), which features a newly sculpted tail.

The figures will be released in Japan in November 2025. Fans in North America should check Toho's Official Godzilla Store in the coming weeks for pre-order details.

Godzilla 2004's distinctive features, such as his sharp eyes, slender yet massive body, and the beautiful silhouette of his dorsal fin, have been captured in this retro soft vinyl figure. The dark grey molded color is close to black, which is toned to match Godzilla's body color. The yellow claws and dorsal fin are painted white. The orange eyes also bring out the FINAL WARS Godzilla look.

For the Clear Blue Ver., Godzilla's hands and feet are left unpainted, resulting in a beautiful, highly transparent soft vinyl figure. This translucent clear coloring was very popular with CCP's GMK Godzilla figure.

The popular Godzilla (2016) 4th Form figure returns as the "Frozen Ver." with a newly sculpted tail! The tip of the tail is is beautifully sculpted without being too realistic,. The overall coloring is a balanced mix of black molding with grey and white to replicate Godzilla's memorable frozen state in the final scene of SHIN GODZILLA.

This soft vinyl figure features a balance of clear molding and white paintwork to replicate a cold texture like snow or ice. The tip of the tail is also accurately painted, resulting in an incredibly beautiful recreation of the frozen Shin Godzilla.
