Drone Show Japan, Inc. (Head office: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, CEO: Yuki Yamamoto) has announced that on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in collaboration with Taiwan Hope Innovation Co., Ltd., the first Ultraman drone show in Japan and Taiwan will be held in Tainan City, Taiwan. This drone show is the first attempt for a Japanese-Taiwanese joint production, featuring Tsuburaya Productions' Ultraman, a character hugely popular both domestically and overseas. It was realized with the official permission of Taiwan's official distributor, Beast Country.
Combining the technology and creativity of both countries, the drone show will portray the legendary hero of the Japanese special effects world, Ultraman, in the beautiful early summer night sky of Tainan. The latest hero, Ultraman Omega, will also appear in the show!
This drone show aims to contribute to the development of the entertainment industry and deepen friendly relations between Japan and Taiwan as a new form of cultural exchange between the two countries. Starting with this project, which marks Drone Show Japan's first overseas expansion, the company will continue to actively promote expansion to Asia and countries around the world by combining drone technology with beloved characters from Japan's world-famous manga, anime, special effects, and other genres.
