Toei Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with some early information and high-res promotional images for their 18th annual Super Sentai/Kamen Rider theatrical double feature, KAMEN RIDER BUILD THE MOVIE / LUPINRANGER VS PATRANGER EN FILM (??? ??????????????????????VS????????????en film, Gekijooban Kamen Raidaa Birudo/ Kaitoo Sentai Rupanrenjaa VS Keisatsu Sentai Patorenjaa en film)*, opening in Japan this August. The films feature the latest additions to Toei`s two most popular hero franchises. The KAMEN RIDER BUILD (?????????, Kamen Raidaa Birudo) television series debuted on September 3, 2017, and stars Atsuhiro Inukai as Sento Kiryu, a physicist who uses the Build Driver belt to become Kamen Rider Build. LUPINRANGER VS PATRANGER (???????????? VS ???????????, Kaitoo Sentai Rupanrenjaa VS Keisatsu Sentai Patorenjaa) premiered this past February 11. The series features two Sentai teams -- a Robin Hood-like trio called Lupinranger and the special police force Patranger -- in conflict with each other and the criminal organization Gangler over treasures hidden by Arsène Lupin, the legendary French gentleman thief (and grandfather of Lupin the Third). Plot details and cast/crew lists for each film will be announced as the release date nearer. For now, Toei has offered the following teasers...
