Toho has released GODZILLA+ (ゴジラ+, Gojira+), a new official app that collects and shares the latest information on Godzilla movies, products, events, and more from multiple Japanese sources. Developed by teamLab, the app’s UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) design and functions allow Godzilla fans to access fresh Godzilla news more conveniently and enjoyably.
GODZILLA+ also includes a “Mission” function that offers users a “digital card” by completing missions such as launching the app every day or checking into a location related to Godzilla. This allows fans to collect additional Godzilla information while playing.
Get the free GODZILLA+ app at godzilla.store/godzillaplus, the App Store and Google Play.
Collect the latest information on Godzilla in the app
The latest information on Godzilla, which has long been announced separately depending on the subject matter, is now collected in the app. Responding to the needs of fans, GODZILLA+ includes a news function presenting cross-category information on movies, goods, and events, and a customizable function to receive notifications only for specific topics.
Promote app usage with app-only digital cards
If you clear various missions delivered by the app, you will get the app-only “GODZILLA DIGITAL COLLECTION CARD”. Various missions may be added at any time, such as limited-time missions and check-ins at designated places such as TOHO Cinemas.
App design and production that reflects Godzilla’s worldview
In consultation with Toho, teamLab has incorporated Godzilla’s worldview into the app design so that fans will quickly be able to understand functions such as the acquisition of digital cards.

About teamLab
teamLab is an international art collective, an interdisciplinary group of various specialists such as artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians and architects whose collaborative practice seeks to navigate the confluence of art, science, technology, and the natural world.
teamLab aims to explore the relationship between the self and the world and new perceptions through art. In order to understand the world around them, people separate it into independent entities with perceived boundaries between them. teamLab seeks to transcend these boundaries in our perception of the world, of the relationship between the self and the world, and of the continuity of time. Everything exists in a long, fragile yet miraculous, borderless continuity of life.
teamLab’s works are in the permanent collection of the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney; Art Gallery of South Australia, Adelaide; Asian Art Museum, San Francisco; Asia Society Museum, New York; Borusan Contemporary Art Collection, Istanbul; National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne; and Amos Rex, Helsinki.
