Premium Bandai, the official mail order site of Bandai Namco, is now accepting pre-orders for the "Ultra Replica Flash Prism" (ウルトラレプリカ フラッシュプリズム, Urutora Repurika Furasshu Purizumu), a replica of the Beta Capsule transformation device used by Kenichi Kai (played by Kane Kosugi) in Tsuburaya's 1993 American co-production, ULTRAMAN: THE ULTIMATE HERO a.k.a. ULTRAMAN POWERED (ウルトラマンパワード, Urutoraman Pawādo).

Now, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of ULTRAMAN POWERED, Bandai has created a new sculpt of the Flash Prism for their "Ultra Replica Series" that utilizes the latest design technology to incorporate light-up and voice-activated gimmicks into the device while maintaining an accurate, streamlined form.
■ Transformation Gimmick
The voice button is placed on the crystal part on the back side of the device to make the transformation more like the one in ULTRAMAN POWERED. This allows the user to press the button in the same "clench your fist" motion as seen in the show, and the transformation sound can be activated in a more natural pose.
In addition, LEDs are built into the left, right, and center crystals, emitting light in time with the sound.
■ Audio Gimmicks
The mode automatically switches to "Powered Post-Transformation State" (パワード変身後状態, Pawādo Henshin-go Jōtai) upon activation of the transformation sound. In this mode, various sound effects, such as Powered's Mega Spacium Beam and Color Timer, can be heard at the touch of a button.
In addition, the device is equipped with a "Sound Battler Mode" (サウンドバトラーモード, Saundo Batorā Mōdo) that can recreate the intense battle scenes from the show.
The Ultra Replica Flash Prism also includes the roars of all 17 "Powered Monsters" (ウルトラマンパワード, Pawādo Monsutā) from ULTRAMAN POWERED, and allows the user to makee any monster sound along with the grunts and yells of Powered.
