    "Ultraman AR Stamp Rally" and "Ultra Heroes EXPO" Come To Fukushima in July

    The Ultra Fukushima Executive Committee (consisting of Fukushima Prefecture, Sukagawa City, Tsuburaya Productions, TV-U Fukushima, and Radio Fukushima) will hold "Great Adventure! Ultraman AR Stamp Rally in Fukushima 2023" (大冒険!ウルトラマンARスタンプラリーinふくしま2023,  Daibōken! Urutoraman AR Sutanpu Rarī in Fukushima 2023) throughout Fukushima Prefecture from Thursday, July 13 to Thursday, November 30. In addition, "Ultra Heroes EXPO New Generations World in Sukagawa" (ウルトラヒーローズEXPO ニュージェネレーションズワールド IN 須賀川,  Urutora Hīrōzu EXPO Nyū Jenerēshonzu Wārudo IN Sukagawa) will be held from Saturday, August 5 to Sunday, August 20 in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture, where visitors can meet and greet the New Generation Ultramen as a project linked to this stamp rally.

    This stamp rally is a live/digital event using an application that utilizes augmented reality (AR) technology on smartphones. By reading the markers set at 30 tourist facilities in the prefecture with the application, Ultra Heroes and monsters will appear on the screen of the player's smartphone camera. By taking pictures with the characters that appear, players can collect stamps in the app and enter to win original prizes.
     

    Also, if a player fulfills conditions such as purchasing a product at select facilitiies, they can get a gorgeous original sticker. During the period of the event, information on sightseeing around the point facilities will be introduced on SNS and the official website every week, so players can enjoy sightseeing in Fukushima while collecting stamps.

    ■ "Great Adventure! Ultraman AR Stamp Rally in Fukushima 2023" Outline

    Period: Thursday, July 13, 2023 - Thursday, November 30, 2023

    Participation Fee: Free of charge (Communication charges associated with downloading, updating, and using the application are the responsibility of the user.)
    Supported Models: Android OS 8.0 or higher smartphones (tablets are not supported), iPhone 5s or later smartphones with iOS 12.0 or higher (iPad is not supported)

    Using the app, players can take pictures with Ultraman heroes and monsters at a total of 30 locations in 7 areas in Fukushima Prefecture, and receive an original sticker when they reach 10, 20, or all points (first-come-first-served basis). In addition, visitors will be entered into a drawing to win original Tsuchiyu Kokeshi (traditional Japanese style) dolls and other Ultra Hero related goods, as well as coupons that can be used within the prefecture.

    In conjunction with "Great Adventure! Ultraman AR Stamp Rally in Fukushima 2023," Sukagawa City Citizen's Exchange Center tette in Fukushima Prefecture will hold the interactive exhibition event "Ultra Heroes EXPO New Generations World in Sukagawa" from Saturday, August 5 to Sunday, August 20. The event will feature a variety of attractions, including a meet and greet with New Generation Ultramen and a hands-on corner where visitors can enjoy the world of the Ultraman franchise.

    Attraction 1: New Generation Ultraman Diorama Exhibit

    A diorama exhibition of great power is available for visitors to take photos.

    Attraction 2: Experience Corner

    Visitors can experience the effects of the Spacium Ray and take the New Generation Ultraman Personality Test. There is also a photo spot where you can take a picture on the big hand of an Ultraman hero.

    Attraction 3: Greeting Corner

    Attraction 4: Visitor Gifts

    Silicon bracelets with illustrations of New Generation Ultramen and their famous catchphrases will be distributed as gifts to visitors.  One bracelet per ticket, distributed at random (players cannot choose the design).
