"Ultraman & Monsters Notebook 2024" Coming From Kodansha in September

Japanese publisher Kodansha has announced that their Ultraman & Monsters Notebook 2024 (ウルトラマン＆怪獣手帳 2024,Urutoraman ando Kaijū Techō 2024) will be released on September 11, 2023. Featuring a stylish red vinyl cover with the silhouette of Ultraseven and the silver foil stamping of the Ultra Guard mark, the book acts as a daily planner, diary and comprehensive Ultra Series information guide.

This year marks the third anniversary of the Ultraman & Monsters Notebook series, and the 2024 edition has been reworked to make it even more fun and easy for everyday use than previous volumes.

The contents of Ultraman & Monsters Notebook 2024 include...

■ Part 1: "First Battles" Photobook

This full color section features photos of the first battles depicted in each series from ULTRA Q (ウルトラQ, Urutora Kyū, 1966) to ULTRAMAN BLAZAR (ウルトラマンブレーザー, Urutoraman Burēzā, 2023)! In addition, the "Final Battles" photobook is available as a separate volume that can bee added to this notebook or enjoyed on its own!

■ Part 2: Updated Columns

The 2024 edition introduces two new columns, "Operation Invasion of Earth" (地球侵略大作戦, Chikyū Shinryaku Daisakusen) featuring the repeated attacks by Alien Baltan and other creatures, and "WHO'S WHO" featuring female science team members such as Akiko Fuji and Anne Yuri. Please enjoy them while you write in your weekly schedule.

■ Part 3: Updated Daily Diary

Each diary entry contains a single piece of information about the Ultraman Series episode that was broadcast on that day. The information has been completely renewed, and more than 190 out of 366 episodes have been published for the first time! There is also a corner section that introduces one monster or alien each week, with the 2024 edition packed with new introductions, including the living star monster Jamilar from ULTRAMAN (ウルトラマン, Urutoraman, 1966-67) and the space superhuman Alien Steal from ULTRAMAN ACE (ウルトラマンA（エース）, Urutoraman Ēsu, 1972-73).

■ Part 4: Bookmarks with Ultraseven Colors

Each annual Notebook contains two spins (booksmarks). For the 2024 edition, the spins are yellow and green, the colors of Ultraseven's eyes and Beam Lamp. When combined with the red and silver of the cover, they complete the Ultraseven color scheme.
