Tsuburaya Productions Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Takayuki Tsukagoshi) will add the ULTRAMAN NEXUS (ウルトラマンネクサス, Urutoraman Nekusasu, 2004) series to their official Japanese subscription digital platform service TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION starting Monday, October 2, 2023.
To commemorate the series' debut on the service, a video commentary and interview with Takuji Kawakubo, who played the main character Kazuki Komon, has been uploaded to Tsuburaya's YouTube channel. In addition, Mr. Kawakubo will take part in a simulcast viewing event for ULTRAMAN NEXUS Episode 1 "Night Raid" on October 2 at 7:30 p.m. JST, the 20th anniversary of the episode's original TV broadcast. TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION Premium Plan subscribers can also join the "Share It! Lounge" chatroom prior to the screening of the episode.
■ ULTRAMAN NEXUS Story
Kazuki Komon, a member of the Rescue Squad, is assigned to Night Raider, a secret organization that exterminates alien creatures known as Space Beasts. On his way to the rendezvous point, Komon is attacked by a Space Beast but is saved by a silver giant.
The series will reveal the secrets of the Space Beasts and the mysterious Night Raider organization.
