The Japanese collectibles company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and nearly 150 daikaiju-sized photos of their giant monster figures scheduled for release in August 2018. X-Plus` monster figures can be purchased directly from the company`s official Shounen Ric website. Shounen Ric offers Exclusives and Limited Editions with bonus features or extra pieces not available from other retailers. The standard "General Distribution" versions of the figures are sold by stores and online retailers including SFJ`s sponsors Anime Jungle and Flossie`s Gifts & Collectibles. Most X-Plus figures are recommended for fans and collectors ages 15 years and older.

Inspired by a shot of Godzilla crossing a viaduct in the SHIN GODZILLA trailer, Sakai sculpted and released a limited edition resin Godzilla garage kit in June 2017. The prototype for that kit is the basis for the new X-Plus figure, with the artist supervising the casting of the master mold used for production of the soft vinyl figures in order to reproduce the original`s high degree of detail (particularly in the teeth and dorsal fins). While there is no light-up version of the figure, the Shounen Ric website is offering an exclusive Limited Edition in which the red highlights on Godzilla`s body are molded in clear plastic and painted silver from the inside to create a glowing effect.
