Warner Bros. Pictures Japan has provided information and materials for their upcoming suspense thriller, MUSEUM (??????, Myuujiamu). Based on the Japanese cult manga of the same name by Ryousuke Tomoe, it is the shivering story of a detective against a serial killer in a frog mask claiming himself as an artist. The Frogman kills the victims only on rainy days with different, somewhat artistic styles and presents the bodies as though he wants them to be found... Directed by Keishi Otomo of the RUROUNI KENSHIN Trilogy, the film stars Shun Oguri (CROWS franchise) as the detective, a competent but pained loner, and Machiko Ono (LIKE FATHER LIKE SON) as his estranged wife. The actor portraying the Frogman will be revealed soon. MUSEUM opens in Japanese cinemas on November 12th. STORY The Devil Artist Frogman Creates a Murder Museum A body mauled to death by dogs is found, and other heinous murders follow... the bodies presented in a way as though to be found. Mysterious notes are left at the crime scenes, hinting the killings were done to punish each victim. The killer only appears on rainy days and is witnessed wearing a frog mask. Police detective Sawamura (Shun Oguri) is on the case and -- to his surprise -- finds out the next target of the Frogman could be his beloved wife and child, who left him 2 weeks ago. As the investigation progresses, Sawamura learns that the Frogman stages the murders like works of art, calling himself an artist. Sawamura tries to corner Frogman using the clues he left behind, but is devastated to find that it was all a trap. Will Sawamura survive the deadly scheme of the Frogman and save his family?
