Distributor Warner Bros. Pictures Japan has released the anime feature film SELECTOR DESTRUCTED WIXOSS (?????????????????, Gekijooban Serekutaa Hakai Wikurosu). The movie is the latest chapter in Warner Entertainment Japan and Takara Tomy`s WIXOSS franchise, which launched with a card game and the anime television series SELECTOR INFECTED WIXOSS (????? ???????? ?????, Serekutaa Infekuteddo Wikurosu) in April 2014. The sequel series SELECTOR SPREAD WIXOSS (????? ????? ?????, Serekutaa Supureddo Wikurosu) followed in October 2014. The film offers a "new interpretation" of the events of the TV series, with additional characters and an alternate ending. Junior high student Ruko Kominato is given a deck of WIXOSS -- a popular fighting game -- cards by her brother. In the deck is one of the rare, special cards called LRIGs that possess personalities and wills of their own. Ruko uses her LRIG, Tama, to battle other WIXOSS players in a strange, dark plane of existence...
