    ULTRAMAN ORB THE MOVIE Update: New Info and High-Res Photos!

    A SCIFI JAPAN EXCLUSIVE

    Tsuburaya Productions and distributor Shochiku have provided SciFi Japan with a big update for their upcoming film, ULTRAMAN ORB THE MOVIE. We`ve got the latest voice cast and theme song news, a trailer, high-res poster art (2 designs) and so many new photos we`ve decided to split them into two articles... so be sure to check back with SFJ soon for more pics!

    On the casting front, top voice actor Koichi Yamadera (GHOST IN THE SHELL, NEON GENESIS EVANGELION, COWBOY BEBOP, DRAGON BALL Z: BATTLE OF GODS) will lend his vocal talents to a new villain, Alien Gapiya Sadeath. Also providing their voices (in as-yet unnamed roles) are the self-professed "otaku" Hirohisa Ota, Otake and Shinji Saito of the popular comedy trio Jungle Pocket. Recent Ultra Series stars Yuichi Nakamura, Takuya Negishi, Kiyotaka Uji and Mamoru Miyano are confirmed to be returning to voice their respective characters; Ultraman X, Ultraman Ginga, Ultraman Victory and Ultraman Zero. And ULTRA SEVEN star Koji Moritsugu is listed as appearing onscreen as well as supplying the voice for Seven. “Two As One”, the theme song to ULTRAMAN ORB THE MOVIE, will be performed by the "four octave vocals and dance group", Da-iCE. Formed in 2011, the five-man group made their major debut from the Universal Sigma label in January 2014. Three singles released in 2016 -- "Watch Out", "Paradive" and "Koi Koro" -- all entered the Top 3 of the Oricon Weekly Ranking. “Two As One” will be included on Da-iCE`s third album, NEXT PHASE, available January 25, 2017. Shochiku will release ULTRAMAN ORB THE MOVIE at the Shinjuku Piccadilly and other cinemas across Japan on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Advance tickets go on sale Saturday, December 10 at theaters nationwide, plus Ultraman events and official memorabilia shops and also FamilyMart stores with FamiPort ticket kiosks. Ticket buyers who purchase the Parent-Child Pair will receive a free limited edition Glitter Ver. Ultraman Orb Origin finger puppet, while supplies last.
