With LUPIN THE IIIRD: ZENIGATA AND THE TWO LUPINS (LUPIN THE IIIRD 銭形と2人のルパン, LUPIN THE IIIRD Zenigata to 2-ri no Rupan) now streaming on Prime Video and other services in Japan, TMS Entertainment and Wright Film have provided a new update for the short action movie starring Inspector Zenigata. ZENIGATA AND THE TWO LUPINS is the prequel to the feature film, LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE: THE IMMORTAL BLOODLINE (LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE 不死身の血族, LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE Fujimi no Ketsuzoku), which is coming to the theaters across Japan on June 27th.

■ New Key Art Unveiled!

The new key art (pictured to the right) shows Inspector Zenigata gazing at the viewer with a stern expression, Lupin III with a pensive gaze, the fake Lupin with a fearless smile, and in the center, Karaskov of the Roviet Federation's National Security Committee, who is pursuing the terrorists. The image is the most austere in the series' history, full of melancholy and passion, and is painted in dark colors that seem to symbolize this work, in which each person's strategy and justice are intricately intertwined.

■ A Comment From Koichi Yamadera, Who Plays the Role of Inspector Zenigata

"It's going to be great again! Yamadera commented on the series directed by Takeshi Koike. He added that he put his whole heart and soul into playing the role Zenigata, explaining, "Everything has been enhanced! No tricks at all! want you to see for yourself how the story unfolds."

■ Many Fake Lupins Appear in Shibuya!?

On the day of the release, many Fake Lupins visited the Shibuya area of Tokyo, and an experience-based promotional competition "Find the Fake Lupin!" (ニセルパンをさがせ!, Nise Rupan o Sagase!) was held. Fake Lupins wearing red jackets suddenly appeared in various places around the area, such as in front of Miyashita Park and Shibuya Mark City, and flyers for the game were distributed, promoting ZENIGATA AND THE TWO LUPINS. The Fake Lupins soon gathered at the Shibuya store event space of SHIBUYA109 Shibuya! On their backs, there is a warning letter from Lupin (?) and they seem to be numbered up to 33...

Many people took photos of the Fake Lupins posing with their guns in front of the posters for this film and the new theatrical movie. From loudspeakers the voice of Zenigata, yelled out, "I saw you, Lupin!" and "Hey! You guys! Don't miss it!" while the Fake Lupins handed out stickers of this film to people passing by.
