Each issue of the five part series will be by a different creative team to best showcase the onslaught! Writer/artist James Stokoe (Godzilla: Half Century War) returns to his favorite monster in the first chapter. Godzilla meets his greatest adversary of all time -- the impossible tortures of Hell! Each issue of this special miniseries will see Godzilla enter a new level of the underworld to do battle with the impossible. Godzilla in Hell #1 is one of IDW`s "Five Featured First" issues for July, along with Star Trek/Green Lantern #1, Onyx #1, The Shrinking Man #1 and Transformers: Robots in Disguise Animated #1. The issue is also part of EC Comics cover month, with a variant homage cover by Godzilla: Rulers of Earth artist Jeff Zornow! Godzilla in Hell #1 premiered at last week`s San Diego Comic-Con with a Convention Variant edition featuring a new illustration by James Stokoe. The print run was limited to 200 copies.
