In commemoration of the release of GODZILLA MINUS ONE (ゴジラ-1.0/ゴジラマイナスワン, Gojira Mainasu Wan), there will be a collaboration between Godzilla and public bathhouses (銭湯, sento) across Japan. The partnership between Toho Co., Ltd. and the marketing and promotions company CDG Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka, President and CEO: Hideo Konishi) will offer exclusive Godzilla-themed decor and merchandising at the bathhouses, which have a long history and tradition in Japan.
Beginning Thursday, October 26, 2023, limited edition curtains (暖簾, noren) and posters will be displayed in some public bathhouses in Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Toyama, Ishikawa, Gifu, Aichi, Mie, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hyogo. Original Godzilla products such as "Tenugui" hand towels and "Gesokufuda Kīhorudā" keychains will also go on sale.
