Among the new actors are tokusatsu veteran Yumiko Tanaka, whose resume includes the Kamen Rider series MASKED RIDER SUPER-1 (仮面ライダースーパー1, Kamen Raidā Sūpā Wan, 1980-81). She also had a cameo role in Toho's THE RETURN OF GODZILLA (ゴジラ, Gojira, 1984) as Akemi, the assistant to news photographer Goro Maki. Ishii was an apprentice of the late Toho FX director Koichi Kawakita, and served as a special effects assistant director on GODZILLA: FINAL WARS,  NEGOTIATOR: MASHITA MASAYOSHI, DAIMAJIN KANON, and ULTRAMAN MEBIUS. He has directed  episodes of ULTRAMAN GINGA and ULTRAMAN GINGA S as well as his own feature film, ATTACK OF THE GIANT TEACHER.
