Toho and HELLO! MOVIE Make GODZILLA MINUS ONE Available to the Visually and Hearing Impaired

To help make GODZILLA MINUS ONE (ゴジラ-1.0/ゴジラマイナスワン, Gojira Mainasu Wan) available to all fans and moviegoers in Japan, Toho has partnered with Evixar Inc's "HELLO! MOVIE" system to offer audio guidance for the visually impaired and subtitles for the hearing impaired.

Starting Friday, November 3, 2023 -- the day GODZILLA MINUS ONE opens in Japanese theaters -- these support options will be available for audiences. Audio-guided screenings, which describe the onscreen events for those with impaired eyesight, can be enjoyed at all theaters by anyone with a smartphone or other mobile device with the HELLO! MOVIE app installed.

Japanese-language subtitled screenings of GODZILLA MINUS ONE can be enjoyed at all theaters by downloading the HELLO! MOVIE app to an interactive glasses device and using it with a special microphone. For those who don't already own the special glasses, some theaters will be lending out the equipment to their customers. Japanese fans should check theater listings for details on which are offering loaners.

In addition, some theaters will offer Japanese-language subtitled screenings, in which subtitles are displayed on the screen, for a limited time. Please check theater listings for details.
